i plan to go to teachers college there, in the future im canadian and i will be living in NZ for a year in wellington, but i need a good relatively safe... place to live not to cheap and not to far from victoria wellington uniWhere is a good place to live near victoria welllington university?
Answer above, the teacher's college is actually in Karori.



So it'd be best to live in Karori, but it's quite an expensive suburb. Northland, Highbury and Kelburn are the surround suburbs. There's a bus that goes very close to the campus. The Karori buses start in Lyall Bay and Miramar and go through Newtown and into the city. So really you could live anywhere around there.



There's also a hall of residence/dorm in Karori called Helen Lowery. It's cheaper than most Vic halls because it's not in the city.



I've done a few papers at the Karori campus, don't expect anything flash. Also, Victoria doesn't have the best reputation for teacher's college. Also, there's a high level of knowledge required to enter our teacher's colleges. We assume that you know the difference between to and too!

Anywhere in the suburb of Kelburn would be great for when you're studying...it's very close to Vic Uni....and also very close to the central city area...
